UPOP- 4th Grade Caving

Columbia Public School's Fun City 4th Graders toured the cave and noticed the change of temperature when walking down into the Connor’s Cave opening. They observed the temperature of the stream being much cooler and enjoyed touching it. They were able to find crinoid fossils inside the cave, on the rock path of Springbrook Trail, and near the parking lot. A number of students were able to name the park and give driving directions to the park from their school.

The Urban Population Outreach Program (UPOP) is a joint project of FoRB and the Missouri Parks Association.
